Dear Friends,

Happy New Year!

Once again, I find myself thinking about those dreaded resolutions and what should and shouldn’t be on my list this year. I mean, how many times can one vow to surrender the Mallomars and to finally get on that fitness train (and stay there) once and for all?

I keep thinking that my resolutions should be more outward…make more friends, do more in my community, help others in need…as well as to find ways to bring more joy into my own life by doing more of the things I love and making those as important as everything else on my never-ending list of things to do. Easier said than done.

And as my son is about to celebrate his second birthday, and this mother still not quite convinced that even after all this time, he is truly here…I must confess that my wishes for the coming year are all based on his happiness, his needs, his fill-in-the-blank. Whatever it is, I wish it all for him.
